Advanced Polymers, Inc. can custom produce non-shrink tubing, ideally suited
for precision sheaths or covers, catheter tubing and liners, insulating sleeving
and viewing windows. Our heat-stabilized, non-shrink tubing remains
dimensionally stable at temperatures as high as 212°F (100°C) or higher.
The major advantage of heat-stabilized, non-shrink tubing is that it is able to
produce ultra-thin, high-strength, and extremely precise diameters in clear or colored
tubing with +/- 0.001 inch or better. In addition, in its clear version, the non-shrink
tubing can transmit a broad spectrum of light including UV light for adhesive curing.
Our heat stabilized, non-shrink tubing can be made in diameters ranging from 0.020"
to 1" featuring ultra-thin walls from 0.00025" to 0.003" with burst pressures as
high as 1,000 psi or more and tensile strengths of 25,000 to 60,000 psi. The heat
stabilized, non-shrink tubing may be sterilized using Ethylene Oxide, Gamma Radiation
or Autoclaving. It can also be printed using numerous conventional techniques.
